This bookmark is to commemorate Remembrance Day, observed traditionally on 11th November.

I have included a Starting Diagram, but also any other diagrams that I felt necessary. With the centre of the Poppy, work this in point ground, and then add a 10mm black button or a piece of felt to complete the look.

The Poppy itself is worked freestyle, as in Floral Bucks, and as such there are no diagrams. You will need to pull on your own resources to work this, adding and removing pairs and/or pinholes as required, plus you will be using coloured workers. Each Lace-maker will work the ‘floral’ element differently!
