Working a False Picot

Hang 2 pairs ‘open’ on the pin. Twist both pairs 3 times, then work a cloth stitch and add 3 twists on each pair. This is the false picot.

The right-hand pair will then work through the head side passives and enter the pattern at the next natural pin.

Next the left-hand pair from the false picot, should work a cloth stitch with the pair to its immediate right. This closes a small gap that may appear on the head side.

When working the next picot use the third pair from the edge out to the edge and make a picot in the normal way
